From 1966 until his retirement in 2004, he coached the Stanford men's tennis team, during which time he led his teams to 17 NCAA Team Championships and coached 50 All American champions. He mentored and coached tennis greats such as John McEnroe, Roscoe Tanner, Sandy Mayer, the Bryan twins, and many others.

Bob Hansen

The creator of the Slug Tennis program, Bob Hansen enters his 30th season as the Men's Tennis Coach at UC Santa Cruz. Regarded as one of the best coaches in the country, Coach Hansen has been selected as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Coach of the Year four times and in 2000 was honored as the ITA Coach of the Decade for the 90's. (During the 90's his teams were undefeated against Div III opponents in the regular season going 73-0).

Garrett Smith

Coach Smith, who also assists the men’s team, has lifted the women’s program to new heights during his five years in the main seat. He has reached the postseason all five years. Smith orchestrated a record- breaking 2005 season that resulted in the school’s second NCAA title in four years. The Pilots became just the second school in history to complete an unbeaten season with a title, joining North Carolina.

Jen Averill

Jen Averill put Wake Forest field hockey on the map. Since 1992, Averill has taken the program from virtually unknown to a respected national powerhouse. Averill guided the squad to back-to-back-to-back national championships from 2002 to 2005. She’s earned National Coach of the Year honors three times and was recently inducted into the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

Jim Sochor

With a coaching philosophy deeply influenced by Taoism, Ralph Waldo Emerson and Deepak Chopra, Jim Sochor helped turn a mediocre UC football program into a Division II dynasty. Under Coach Sochor, UC Davis won 18 straight league championships, more than any other football program at any level in NCAA history.

John Dunning

John Dunning is no stranger to success. Few in the history of the sport can compete with the accomplishments of the Cardinal's decorated head coach. In 2009, Dunning, the two-time reigning Pac-10 Coach of the Year, enters his ninth season at the helm of the Cardinal. Dunning ranks among the top five coaches all-time with an .829 career winning percentage, and among the top 10 active coaches with 676 career wins.

Marv Dunphy

Widely recognized as one of the game’s premier coaches, Dr. Marv Dunphy has directed Pepperdine to four NCAA men’s volleyball titles and is heading into his 27th season as the Waves’ head coach in 2010. Dunphy, who holds a career record of 491-189 (.722), was the 2005 National Coach of the Year and is a three-time MPSF Coach of the Year.

Sue Stahl

Coach of the Century, International Federation Coach of the Year, head coach of the U.S. national team, inductee of the United States, Virginia and Pennsylvania Halls of Fame...Sue Stahl is one of the greatest names in women's lacrosse. She is also the head coach of the Old Dominion Lady Monarch women's lacrosse team.
